Responsibilities

Prepares and communicates high-quality business reports to support stakeholder understanding and decision-making.

I understand the national and international financial reporting standards , regulations and frameworks and I keep up to date with developments in them.


I understand and can apply the national and international regulatory financial reporting standards (IFRS) and framework.


I keep up to date with current corporate reporting issues e.g. intangibles and developments in these standards and regulations.


I apply the relevant accounting and reporting standards and am able to explain their suitability for the organisation.


I verify, record and process accounting data, put together month end information, prepare estimates and adjustments and perform reconciliations.


I use the appropriate accounting treatments for transactions and events, which are both historical and prospective and include non-routine transactions.


I prepare financial statements and any additional reports, ensuring their accuracy, completeness and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.


I support the implementation of corporate reporting initiatives, policies and processes within the organisation.


I support the preparation and interpretation of non-financial reports e.g. performance reports, sustainability or integrated reports.
