Proficient

ACCA members with a minimum of 3 years’ experience gained during the journey to qualification. At this career level you are usually expected to have some post qualification experience where you build further on the Insight, Drive and Collaboration skills needed to succeed.

Expert

ACCA members/fellows with considerable post qualification experience with a breadth and depth of exposure to a variety of scenarios. At this career level, you are likely to be managing a team or function, or progressing strongly in a specialist area of expertise.

Leader

ACCA fellows with vastly significant post qualification experience. At this level, you are likely to be a senior leader perhaps in a C-suite or entrepreneurial role.

Advisory and consultancy

Responsibilities

Develops insight into both internal and external clients’ organisational issues and provides expert advice to add value. Supports clients’ objectives and plans to improve, innovate and sustainably grow; identifies efficiencies and responds to changing environments.

I develop a broad knowledge of an industry, sector or function; its drivers of success, relevant emerging and disruptive trends and future challenges and opportunities.

I gather and interpret appropriate financial and non-financial information to develop knowledge of the client's organisation, its objectives and the scope of the consultancy assignment.

I carry out research and analysis relating to the consultancy assignment, using appropriate methodologies, tools, technologies, models and frameworks to investigate and address the client's challenges and opportunities.

I contribute to creating clear and feasible client solutions for change which are appropriate from an economic and wider sustainability perspective.

I help clients to transfer knowledge and skills into their organisation, leaving them better equipped to respond to future challenges.
