Responsibilities

Delivers financial information, tools, analysis and insight across the organisation; assesses, evaluates and implements management accounting and performance management systems.

I provide key information and analysis to support all levels of the organisation’s management ensuring it is communicated in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.


I apply management accounting methods and techniques to assist in the assessment of organisational performance.


I monitor, analyse and communicate key financial and non-financial performance indicators (KPIs) using relevant frameworks and methodologies and report on performance against them.


I regularly review progress against budgets and operational plans and investigate the causes of any variances, making recommendations for future action.


I provide insights and support robust decision-making by effectively using a wide range of performance management tools and technologies.


I assess internal systems and processes making recommendations to improve tactical and operational efficiency.


I know the cost drivers of the business and partner with the non-finance parts of the organisation to provide support for decision making.


I raise options against issues, evaluating, making recommendations, steering decisions and monitoring outcomes.
